The Club is steeped in southern charm and is noted for its service levels and quality activities for members. Our challenging golf course is an 18-hole original Donald Ross designed course. The PGA Tour held the Azalea Open at Cape Fear Country Club from 1949 to 1971. Along with golf, we feature premier tennis, swimming, fitness facilities, exceptional dining, youth activities, and many social events.

Cape Fear Country Club was fortunate to be chosen as one of the recording venues. The Club is grateful to play a small role in the Wilmington film industry.
During our golf course renovation in 2019, we unearthed some Civil War cannon balls on the Cape Fear Country Club property. The discovery created a lot of interest in regard to the history of the Club's land.
